What to verify before paying a new factory

Business license checks, production photos, bank account consistency and sample review can reduce avoidable sourcing risk.

No verification method is perfect, but combining document review with production evidence and a small controlled first order creates a better starting point for a new supplier relationship.

Before payment, confirm the supplier's legal name, address, bank account beneficiary, production photos and quotation consistency. If possible, ask for a live video call or third-party visit.

For custom products, sample review and signed specification sheets are often more important than the first quoted price.
